By The Coal Oil Light
Growing up in the Appalachian mountains, I grew up with a definite love for God. While life sometimes pulls us away and we find ourselves drifting, I found myself drifting back to memories of my sweet Mamaw Jessie reading us the bible by the lamps at night. Just as Loretta Lynn sang in Coal Miner’s Daughter ”Momma read the bible by the coal oil light” this podcast aims to draw back those sweet memories of peace while reading the bible with loved ones. I am a newly found again Christian, looking to share my studies within the bible and connect with an audience who is also yearning to grow and learn from each other. I’m not an expert or a pastor, however I want to share my experiences while reading the bible and use this as a way to share the love of Jesus to all that care to listen.
